Day 1 was a really good one! We arrived at 7, met Sil and Amanda at the hostel, we went to the University of Amsterdam together. It was really interesting, we got some decent information.

We went on a canal tour, walked around the city - in the sun! but still really cold ;-) - had dinner together and now we are all ready for bed!

Everyone is intrigued by the city, its nice buildings and architecture. We love Amsterdam!

More news tomorrow!

Day 2

Everybody at the breakfast table at 8, then we visited the Rijksmuseum. What a great job they did on renovating it, it was magnificent and all the student were interested in the art. It was a lovely morning.

Later we took the boot to the Fairytales ballet show - with wonderful classic music and an impressive ballet performance.

Last stop was the Eye museum, for some interactive fun in their basement. Students could be part of their own movie for example. I have one of the movies but no sure whether they want to share it ;-)

Extremely sunny day in Holland! We enjoyed every second of it!

Day 3

After another healthy breakfast we went to the Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk museum. Everyone was impressed! More sun today so we walked around, ate outside, laughed a lot, went shopping, laughed some more, had dinner in the Hard Rock Cafe and then straight to bed! Tomorrow off to Rotterdam!

Day 4!

Interesting 4th day! Train to Rotterdam, some of us got of the train, others didn't ;-) We all came together again - safe and sound and an adventure richer! - at the hostel in the Piet Blom boxes! Poffertjes in town, Erasmusbridge, New York Hotel (a wild ride on the water taxi!) for a great dinner and interesting conversations. We get to know each other better and enjoy each other's company every minute.
Off to bed! Drumi dushi!

Day 5!

Tasty breakfast and off to Erasmus University College for an interesting tour. They organized an PBL case for us - problem based learning. All students were involved in this project and had to share their opinions. We visited the Student Hotel and everyone has a better idea on how students live and study... Euromast with beautiful view over Rotterdam and its port. Dinner at Vapiano! Ready for Utrecht tomorrow!
