How is grade level placement of incoming students determined?

Review of the previous three years transcripts, combined with admissions testing and conversations with the family, are all part of the grade placement decision process. ISA tries to place students with age-level peers while simultaneously creating an academically appropriate placement.

When can students enter ISA.

Students may, and do, enter ISA at any time of year. However, especially for Montesorri students, it is best to enter in August and January at the start of a semester.

How long does it take to gain admissions?

The process can be completed in less than a week. It requires complete paperwork, placement, and payment. The most important component of the admissions process is complete honesty and transparency about what the school can offer and what the child needs for optimal performance.

Are there waiting lists for any grade levels? How can be sure to have a place for my child?

There are no waiting lists as of September 2016. However, there is only one seat available in grade 11, and only three seats remaining in grades 3. Payment of an enrollment fee is a guarantee of a seat for the following year.
