About the event
As many of you may already know, the United Nations officially declared April 23rd as Spanish Language Day in 2010. In celebration of this occasion, we are thrilled to announce that the Spanish Department will be hosting Spanish Day. This exciting event will showcase our students' Spanish language skills as they interact with their peers and teachers, sharing the knowledge and cultural insights they have gained throughout the year.
To celebrate the vibrant and diverse cultures of Spanish-speaking countries, we encourage both students and staff to join in the festivities by wearing traditional Spanish attire or incorporating festive colors such as yellow, red, blue, or green.
Secondary students will be contributing to the celebration by bringing traditional Spanish snacks to share. We also invite our elementary school families to participate by having your children bring typical snacks from a Spanish-speaking country to share at the snack table.
